Visit the monastery of Agia Triada Tsagarolon, which has been established in early 17th century by the brothers-both monks-Laurentions and a Ieremias Tsangaroli, Orthodox of Venetian origin and it’s the bigger monastery complex in Crete.
The monastery used to have the Ottomans during the Greek Revolution of 1821.
